Christian Mayeur is an entrepreneur of the FLOW kind.
Now Head of Development & Innovation at AFNOR (French Standards Organization) – he has a very flowing approach of standards, as co-created and ever-evolving references, and is leader of a team 12 champions of perspective in every area of standardization – , he is also founder and owner at Mayeur Projects (New Mexico/USA), a private Art Center & Residency, focused on: Art and Ecologies, Art and the Creative Economy, Land arts.
Chairman of Institut Esprit Service, a think tank dedicated to the Future of Service in France, he has chaired the Service branch of French Quality Association (MFQ) and proud member of EOQ, in the ’90s.
In the past, Christian has been TQM Executive at Orange Long Distance Networks Division; Quality, Service and Innovation Vice-president at Lacroix Ruggieri Group (European leader in Pyrotechnologies); Independent consultant in Service Excellence and Innovation, using Art and Design methods to create outstanding customer experiences for corporations (banks, insurance companies, hotel chains) and nonprofit organizations (job centres, public housing companies).
Between 2005 and 2017, Christian designed and operated 30 creative expeditions mixing business, art, design and cultural discovery of innovative regions of the World, mainly in California and Oregon (USA), Chicago & Boston (USA), Bavaria & Baden Württemberg (Germany), Estonia & Finland, Israel.
He is the author of an awarded book: “Le manager à l’écoute de l’artiste / What manager can learn from artist” – Éditions d’Organisation – Paris, 2006 – got the award in 2007 from Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux.
